The clients, two families, were imaging a concept with different colors, singular materials and an overall mix of old and new elements. While the character of the existing house was to be maintained, the remodelling should bring an air of new brightness, modernity and ease to the old house. Sources of inspiration were found in the british cottage style, which experiments with colors and wallpaper, as well as in the informally larking style the owners discovered on a trip to Marseille, where arabesque blends with mediterranean elements.
