HOUSING COMPLEX W

This competition proposal for a new housing development for the "Waldacker" plot owned by the "Ortsbürgergemeine St. Gallen" takes its inspiration primarly from the distinctive topography of the site. Five convex shaped volumes adapt softly to the contour lines of the territory. The overall shape of the new housing development can be read as a formally autonomous ensemble, at the same time complementing the existing housing development further up on the hill.
