With its monolithic form and straightforward occupation of the plot, the volume of our competition entry for the new kindergarten and daycare center "Kirchweg" in Aarau-Rohr, relates to the neighboring sports hall. Within the enclosure, the building surprises with a varied sequence of indoor and outdoor spaces, divided by translucent glas walls. The result is a structure of great transparence and openness; a suburban pavilion for children, with a central pergola, green courtyards and enclosed gardens.
