This new house for a young family is located in a neighbourhood of single- and multifamily houses surrounded by green gardens, in a village on Lake Zurich. The building is constructed in bright concrete and appears rather closed from the street. The welcoming gesture of the forecourt however invites visitors to approach the house. Through the big window of the front entrance, a sneak peak into the spatious and light-filled interior is allowed, where the spaces are organized around an open patio with a central tree. On the garden side, the house appears entirely different: big floor to ceiling windows open up to the adjoining fields, and from the rooftop floor, there are even views of Lake Zurich.
