Intending to maintain the original layout and solemn character of the existing interiors in a listed building close to Zurich's Paradeplatz, this apartment underwent a gentle renovation. A new kitchen, conceived as a "black room" and the converted bathrooms, now entirely in white, allow for a distinctly contemporary style, whereas some elements refer back to the "Gründerzeit".
